The metals section exports welding materials made by Kobe Steel to the fields of Chinese basic industries, shipbuilding and energy, etc. Furthermore, we have local stocks in China to respond quickly to the needs of the market. We also expand the export business of beryllium copper alloy and contribute to the development of precision industries in China. In our importing business, we are working aggressively on developing our sales of nonferrous metals for various markets in Japan, such as, car manufacturing, plating, refining, and chemicals.

At the minerals section, we have engaged in the importing and sales of various kinds of mineral products such as building materials in the early stage of the marketing. Our service system enjoys good reputation in and outside of Japan because we reflect the demands of consumers in manufacturing. We are also focusing on Southeast Asian trade, such as exporting Chinese products to third countries and importing tin/antimony products from Vietnam.
